What is included in the price?

The price shown when you book includes your training, use of all necessary training equipment and course materials, assessment where required, and certification following successful completion of the course.For regulated qualifications, the course price also includes registration and certification through the relevant awarding organisation. There are no additional certification or assessment fees to pay.Full details of what is included with a particular course can be found on the individual course page.

Where are courses held?

Our scheduled public courses are held at Whaddon Way Church Centre, Beaverbrook Court, Bletchley, Milton Keynes.The venue provides a comfortable training environment and convenient parking. Full joining instructions, including the venue details and anything you need to bring, will be provided before your course.We also deliver private courses at workplaces, schools and other suitable venues across Milton Keynes and the surrounding region. What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to take part safely in practical activities.First aid training is hands-on and may involve kneeling, bending and working at floor level while practising skills such as CPR and the recovery position. We therefore recommend comfortable trousers and suitable flat footwear.If you have any difficulty kneeling, getting down to floor level or taking part in a particular practical activity, please let us know before your course so that we can discuss how best to support you.

What if I need a reasonable adjustment or additional support?

We want our training to be as accessible as reasonably possible. If you have a disability, medical condition, learning need or other circumstance that may affect your participation in the course or assessment, please contact us before attending.Where appropriate, we can discuss reasonable adjustments and other support that may help you access the training and assessment fairly.For regulated qualifications, any adjustment must still allow the required learning outcomes and assessment criteria to be met and must comply with the requirements of the awarding organisation. Some adjustments may therefore need to be agreed in advance.Please contact us as early as possible so that we have time to discuss your requirements with you and, where necessary, seek guidance or approval from the awarding organisation.
