Health and Social Care Training
Professional Training for Health, Care and Community Settings
People working in health, social care, education and community services need the knowledge and confidence to carry out their responsibilities safely and professionally.

DTMK Training Services is developing a range of regulated and professional training for organisations supporting children, young people and adults. Courses are delivered face to face, with an emphasis on clear guidance, practical application and the responsibilities learners hold within their own roles.

Our current Health and Social Care offer is the Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF).

As additional approved courses are introduced, they will be added to this page.
Our Current Health and Social Care Course
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) develops essential knowledge for people who work or volunteer with individuals who could be at risk of harm or abuse.

Learners explore safeguarding responsibilities, relevant legislation and guidance, possible indicators of abuse, safer working practices and how to respond when abuse is disclosed or suspected.
The qualification may be relevant to education, early years, healthcare, social care, voluntary and community settings. Employers remain responsible for deciding whether additional workplace-specific or role-specific safeguarding training is required.

View the Level 2 Safeguarding course for full qualification information, assessment details, entry requirements and delivery options.

Organisations can also request private training for an established group.
