Training at your venue or one we arrange

We can deliver training at your workplace, school, healthcare setting or other suitable venue, making it easier to train your team together while reducing travel and time away from work.

If you do not have a suitable training space, we can also arrange a venue for you. This can be particularly useful for organisations with staff travelling from different locations or where your usual premises are not suitable for practical training.

We will discuss your requirements, learner numbers and preferred location with you before confirming the booking, ensuring there is suitable space for both classroom learning and practical activities.

Training is available across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, with locations further afield considered by arrangement.

Courses Available for Private Training

Most courses offered by DTMK Training Services can be arranged specifically for your organisation, even where there is not currently a scheduled public course available to book online.

Where blended learning is available, the qualification achieved is the same as the equivalent classroom route, while reducing the amount of face-to-face training time required.

Training Larger Groups

Most regulated first aid courses can accommodate up to 12 learners with one appropriately qualified trainer.

If you have a larger team, that does not necessarily mean you need to arrange everything separately. Depending on the qualification, venue and number of learners, we may be able to provide additional trainers, assessors and equipment, or arrange a programme of courses for your organisation.

Room and venue suitability

For all courses, the venue should provide a clean, safe, and comfortable learning environment with adequate seating, table tops or writing surfaces, suitable lighting, ventilation, and a comfortable shirt sleeve temperature. There should be suitable access, including parking for trainers and a safe area for loading and unloading equipment. Nearby refreshment facilities are recommended.

Additional requirements for first aid training

Where the booking includes first aid training, the room must also provide sufficient clear floor space for practical activities. Learners must be able to kneel and lie fully flat, with a carpeted floor or suitably sized mats that allow safe practice of techniques such as the recovery position.
