Course Description
Book your place on our three-day Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF), delivered face-to-face in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. This regulated qualification is designed for people who need to become a qualified first aider in the workplace. It provides comprehensive, practical training for dealing confidently with a wide range of injuries, illnesses and potentially life-threatening emergencies. Across the three days, you will learn and practise essential first aid skills including assessing an emergency, CPR and the safe use of an AED (defibrillator), managing an unconscious casualty, choking, wounds and bleeding, shock, anaphylaxis, heart attack, stroke, asthma, burns and scalds, fractures and dislocations, head and spinal injuries, epilepsy, diabetes and secondary casualty assessment. The course also includes the management of life-threatening catastrophic bleeding. This is practical training, not three days spent simply watching presentations. You will take part in demonstrations, realistic hands-on practice and practical assessments throughout the course, helping you develop the confidence to apply your skills in a genuine workplace emergency. Successful learners receive the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF). The qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. First aiders should undertake appropriate annual refresher training during this period, and the qualification must be renewed before expiry if you need to continue acting as a qualified First Aider at Work. Learners must be aged 14 or over on the first day of the course. As this is a practical first aid qualification, you must be physically able to demonstrate the required first aid procedures, including practical activities at floor level. Please contact us before booking if you have questions about accessibility or reasonable adjustments. The course includes practical and theory assessment, so attendance for the full course is required. Our October 2026 course is delivered at our training venue in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, with free on-site parking. Course fee: £235 per person.
