One day Emergency First Aid at Work course
Course Description
This classroom based Emergency First Aid at Work course provides the essential skills needed to respond confidently to common workplace medical emergencies. The training follows current UK first aid guidance and leads to the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), a nationally recognised qualification that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive for low risk workplaces. The course is suitable for staff who have been nominated as workplace first aiders or for anyone who wants to develop practical lifesaving skills. Training is delivered in a relaxed and supportive environment with a strong focus on real world scenarios. During the course participants will learn how to assess an incident, provide CPR and use an automated external defibrillator, manage choking, treat bleeding and shock, and deal with minor injuries that commonly occur in the workplace. All training takes place at our venue in Milton Keynes using professional training equipment and experienced instructors.
