(extended day)
The Combined Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) has been specially designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver both emergency adult and paediatric first aid. This makes it particularly suitable for those working in schools, sports clubs, childcare settings or any environment where both adult staff and children may require emergency care.

This course is delivered over an extended training day and has been carefully structured to minimise duplication of topics, while ensuring that the learning outcomes of both qualifications are fully achieved. By combining the two courses, learners save time compared to attending each separately, whilst still receiving high-quality, regulated training.

Successful candidates will:
-
Gain the knowledge and practical skills to provide safe, prompt and effective emergency first aid to both adults and children
-
Understand the role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider in the workplace and a paediatric first aider in childcare settings
-
Demonstrate practical competence in responding to a wide range of incidents, including illness and injury involving both adults and children

As two regulated qualifications, employers booking this course can be confident that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without the need for additional due diligence checks.

The qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of:
-
The Resuscitation Council (UK)
-
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) training standard for Emergency First Aid at Work
-
The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
-
A distinguished panel of experts in emergency medical care

This combined course is:
-
Ideal for those who require certification in both Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid, delivered in a single extended day of training
-
Designed to streamline learning while ensuring all regulatory requirements for both qualifications are met
