Blended First Aid Training

Complete part of your first aid qualification online before attending the practical face-to-face element with DTMK Training Services.

Blended learning can reduce the amount of time you or your employees need to spend in the classroom while still completing the same regulated qualification.

DTMK offers blended options for selected workplace and paediatric first aid qualifications, with training available at our Milton Keynes training centre or as private training for organisations.

How does Blended Learning Work?

A blended first aid qualification combines online learning with face-to-face practical training and assessment.

You complete the required online element before attending your practical training. The face-to-face element then concentrates on practical first aid skills, scenarios and assessment that cannot be completed online.

Blended learning is not an online-only first aid qualification. Learners must successfully complete both elements to achieve the qualification.

1. Complete Your Online Learning
Work through the required e-learning before your practical course date.

2. Attend Your Practical Training
Join us at our Milton Keynes training centre or attend training arranged for your organisation.

3. Complete Your Qualification
Complete the required practical training and assessment to achieve the regulated qualification.

Is Blended Learning Right for Me?

Blended learning can be particularly useful for organisations that want to reduce the amount of employee time spent away from the workplace, as well as individuals who prefer to complete some learning independently before attending practical training.

It does require learners to complete the online element within the required timeframe. If you would prefer to complete all of your learning face-to-face with a trainer, our traditional classroom courses may be more suitable.

Blended Training for Organisations

Blended learning can be particularly useful when you have several employees to train but want to minimise time away from the workplace.

Where a blended option is available, learners complete the required online learning before attending the practical face-to-face element. We can then deliver the practical training at your workplace or another suitable venue.

Tell us which qualification you require, approximately how many people need training and your preferred timescale, and we'll discuss the most appropriate delivery option.
