About DTMK
At DTMK Training Services, we believe first aid knowledge should be practical, confidence building, and accessible to everyone. We want every learner to leave our courses with the skills and self-confidence to act quickly in an emergency, whether at work, at school, or at home.

We are a family business with professional standards. Our team includes qualified teachers, vocational assessors, and clinically experienced trainers. Being family run means we are personally invested in the quality of every course we deliver. Our qualifications are awarded through Qualsafe, ensuring compliance with Ofqual regulation and guaranteeing nationally recognised standards.

We offer training both at our venues in Milton Keynes and in company, with blended learning options available for those who prefer to complete part of their study online. As a fully insured training provider, we deliver a wide range of courses. Our workplace, paediatric, and specialist qualifications meet national requirements, while our shorter community sessions make lifesaving knowledge accessible to families and local groups.

Our aim is simple: to help turn bystanders into lifesavers.

Frequently asked questions
What is blended learning?
Blended learning combines online study with classroom training. You complete part of the course at home using e-learning, then attend face to face sessions where you practise and are assessed on your first aid skills.
Which courses are available in this format?
At DTMK Training Services, you can complete the following as blended learning:
Emergency First Aid at Work
First Aid at Work
First Aid at Work Requalification
Paediatric First Aid
We also continue to offer all of these courses fully face to face, for learners or employers who prefer this method.
How much time is spent online and in the classroom?
Emergency First Aid at Work: 2 hours online and 4 hours classroom
First Aid at Work: 6 hours online and 2 classroom days
First Aid at Work Requalification: 6 hours online and 1 classroom day
Paediatric First Aid: 6 hours online and 1 classroom day
Do I have to finish the e-learning before the classroom training?
Yes. The e-learning must be completed in full before you attend the classroom sessions. If it is not finished by the deadline, you will not be able to take part and you will need to transfer to another course.
What is the e-learning like?
The online element includes high quality videos, quizzes, and interactive activities created by clinical experts. It is designed to be engaging, easy to follow, and helps prepare you for the classroom training.
What equipment will I need for the e-learning?
You will need access to a computer, laptop, or tablet with a reliable internet connection. A larger screen will make it easier to view the videos and activities.
If you experience any technical problems, support is available through the Qualsafe learner portal: https://qualsafe.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/group/21
Will I get the same certificate as a face to face course?
Yes. You will receive the same nationally recognised qualification and certificate as learners who complete the course fully in the classroom.
What are the benefits of blended learning for me?
Learn the theory at your own pace in a comfortable setting
Spend classroom time focusing on the practical skills
Reduce time away from work or other commitments
Gain the same recognised qualification as traditional training
Blended learning is a flexible option, but it is not the only way. If you prefer to complete the whole course face to face, you will need to book one of our traditional classroom courses.
